Neighbor, Police Help Control Beaver Dam Fire

7/13/17 – Fire damaged a Beaver Dam house late last night. Crews were called to 219 Bogert Street just before 11pm. Deputy Chief Matt Christian says prior to their arrival, police officers and a next-door neighbor were successful keeping the fire from spreading with a garden hose. Firefighters were able to contain the rest of the flames. The fire was contained to the outside of the house though there was some smoke damage inside. Renter Betty Aman safely exited the building and there were no injuries reported. The cause of the blaze is under routine investigation by the Beaver Dam Police and Fire departments.
