Motorists In Theresa Injury Accident Identified, Child In Critical Condition

12/19/17 – Authorities have identified two of the motorists involved in a weekend injury accident near Theresa that left an eight-year-old with life-threatening injuries. The child was the lone passenger in a westbound car driven by 35-year-old Jesse Sebero of Reeseville who reportedly failed to yield at a stop sign and collided with a northbound car driven by 60-year-old Barbara Vanetta of Theresa. Failure to yield and not wearing a seatbelt were factors in the accident Sunday at the intersection of Highway 28 and Highway 28/67/175 and another accident at the same intersection two weeks ago. Both Sebero and Vanetta sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to area hospitals.  The eight-year-old is now said to be in critical condition at a children’s hospital.
