Motorist Seriously Injured In Town Of Hubbard Crash Identified

12/2/17 – Authorities have identified those involved a two-vehicle accident that occurred Wednesday morning outside Horicon. A car driven by 25-year-old Jose Bermudez of West Allis was southbound on County Highway V just after 11am when he collided with a truck at the controlled intersection with Highway 33. Bermudez was flown to Aurora Hospital in Summit by Flight For Life with life-threatening injuries. 29-year-old Cody Hanefeld of Beaver Dam was operating the Peterbilt straight truck and was towing a trailer. Hanefeld was not injured. Bermudez was cited for 18th offense Operating While Suspended, 9th offense Operating without insurance, Failure to stop at stop sign and Failure to wear seat belt. The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Crash Investigation Team.
