Motorcyclist Seriously Injured After Getting Ejected From Bike

9/2/17 – A motorcyclist was seriously injured this morning in a one vehicle accident in the Town of Westford. In a press release, Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt says at 7:15am a Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling north on County Trunk Highway FW and was approaching a stop sign at the intersection with County Trunk Highway G. The male driver failed to stop, traveled through the intersection, and into the north ditch. The bike vaulted and the driver was ejected from the vehicle which then struck a parked car. The motorcycle operator sustained life threatening injuries and was flown from the scene by Flight for Life to UW Hospital in Madison. Identification of the driver is being withheld pending notification of family. Assisting at the scene was Randolph EMS and Fire Department, Flight for Life, Beaver Dam Paramedics, and the Town of Fox Lake Police. The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Crash Investigation Team.
