Minnesota Woman Killed In Plane Crash Identified

7/31/17 – The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office has identified the woman killed in a plane accident last week as 71-year-old Diane Linker of Sauk Rapids, Minnesota.  She was one of three people from Minnesota who were on a seaplane when it tried to take off from Lake Winnebago.  The plane hit a large wave and overturned, killing Linker and critically injuring a second person.  A third person was treated and released.  Linker is the only one identified by authorities.  The plane and its passengers were in Wisconsin for the annual Experimental Aircraft Association event.
