Milwaukee Man Fails To Appear On Lomira Wayside Robbery Charges

(Lomira) An arrest warrant has been issued for a Milwaukee man who is charged in connection with the assault and robbery of a truck driver at a wayside in Lomira. Keenan Brown was scheduled to make his initial appearance Monday on two felony charges of Robbery with Use of Force and Substantial Battery but never showed. Last September, an out-of-state truck driver stopped at the rest area on southbound 41 and was attacked by two individuals who left with the victim’s wallet, cell phone and roughly $90 dollars in loose change. The truck driver suffered a fractured jaw, brain hemorrhaging, head lacerations and the loss of a canine tooth. Authorities sent the victim’s clothing in for testing which allegedly came back positive with DNA from Brown. The 23-year-old, who was on parole at the time for robbery with the use of force in Milwaukee, denied any involvement in the wayside attack. Brown did provide buccal swabs for additional DNA testing which reportedly further confirmed his involvement. If convicted, Brown faces up to 18-and-a-half years in prison.
