(Beaver Dam) Marshfield Clinic Health System has completed its affiliation with the Beaver Dam Community Hospital. The two organizations have already begun integrating services. Chief Executive Officer of Marshfield Clinic Health System Dr. Susan Turney says they are committed to keeping care local for our communities because they know that so often access to care is a major challenge in rural areas. She says through this affiliation, the number of specialists and subspecialists available in the Beaver Dam community will expand which will ensure better access to care for thousands of families. Interim Chief Administrative Officer at Beaver Dam Community Hospital Joseph Gilene says the physicians, nurses and staff will continue to serve the health care needs of the community for many years to come, along with expanded access to the expertise of the Marshfield Clinic Health System. Specific terms of the affiliation are not being released.
