Marshall Man Convicted Of Theft From Beaver Dam Menards

(Beaver Dam) A Marshall man charged in connection with a robbery at Beaver Dam Menards was convicted on Tuesday. David Seely pled guilty to felony Retail Theft. A second felony charge of Robbery with Threat of Force was dismissed but read into the record. Seely exited Menards with a cart that contained approximately $2,000 dollars’ worth of hardware tools in April. Witnesses told police that he displayed what looked like a Taser gun and told them to back away. A pre-sentencing investigation was ordered and Seely is due back in court on January 29.
