MARCH 24TH: CHOCOLATE COVERED RAISINS

Chocolate Covered Raisin and Oatmeal Cookies

1 c. butter

1 ½ c. brown sugar

½ c. white sugar

1 ½ tsp. lemon juice

1 tsp. vanilla

½ c. milk

4 c. quick cooking oats

2 c. flour

1 tsp. baking soda

1 ½ c. chocolate covered raisins

Cream butter and sugars; add lemon juice, vanilla and milk. Add oats, flour and baking soda. Blend well. Add chocolate covered raisins. Roll into balls (teaspoons size). Flatten with sugar-dipped glass on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in 375° oven for 6-8 minutes. Yield: 4 dozen cookies.
