LORRAINE SCHEPP

Lorraine Schepp, age 89 of Beaver Dam, passed away surrounded by her daughters on March 12, 2019 at The Meadows of Fall River Memory Care after a six year struggle with Lewy Body Dementia and recent pneumonia.

Lorraine was born in Milwaukee, WI on March 21, 1929. She was united in marriage to Joe M. Schepp on December 7, 1948. Lorraine was devoted to her family. She lovingly cared for her mother, grandmother and sister in her home for many years while raising her three children. Her husband, Joe, always called her “The Caregiver”. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Lorraine enjoyed many years of designing and crafting her “special” cards for every birthday and holiday for her family and friends. Each card was truly unique, made from her heart and a keepsake to treasure. She especially loved Christmas and took much pride in decorating and wrapping the many gifts for her family.

Lorraine is survived by her daughters, Julie (Richard) Greely, St. Germain, WI and Margie (Russ) Kranz, Beaver Dam, WI; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many friends who she dearly loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank & Katherine Schmidt; husband, Joe M. Schepp; son, Dave M. Schepp; sister, Eleanor Schmidt and her very special friend, Bonnie Meyer, who lovingly cared for her in her home prior to residing at The Meadows of Fall River.

Visitation for Lorraine will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Milwaukee.

We are forever grateful for the exceptional care and support Mom received over this last year by all the loving caregivers at The Meadows of Fall River Memory Care and Hillside Hospice team, especially Brenda and Shelly. Everyone’s kindness, support and love will be treasured and never forgotten. God Bless all of you!!
