“Lomira Loop” To Support Dodge County K9 Team

(Lomira) The Quad/Graphics Lomira Plant is holding their 5K fun run which will help raise money for local canine-assisted law enforcement. Proceeds from the “Lomira Loop” go directly to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office K9 program which has been in operation since 2011 and features two canine teams, Sergeant Joe Nicholas and his partner K9 Kid and Deputy Taylor Nehls and his partner K9 Tek. Quad/Graphics Lomira Plant Director Joe Gitter says their facility is passionate about giving back to the communities where they live and work and that this year’s fun run supports the important members of Dodge County law enforcement. Gitter says the funds raised will be used to offset ongoing expenses such as equipment, training and veterinary costs. The 5K fun run will be held May 5 beginning at 8am, pre-registration starts at 7am. Interested individuals can sign up for a $15. The run will take place at N11896 Highway 175, which is the Quad/Graphics Lomira property. To sign up visit: https://runsignup.com/Race/WI/Lomira/LomiraLoop5K or call 920-269-4700.
