Local Organization Donates Quilts To Law Enforcement

(Juneau) A local group has donated blankets to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office so that they can be used for those who may need them in a time of distress. The Phi-Beta-Cabin Quilters raised funds for the Comfort Care Blankets through a brat fry, donations from guild members and the community. The quilters were also able to donate quilts to the Beaver Dam and Juneau Police Departments. Phi-Beta-Cabin meets monthly at the Keystone Manor Apartments and make pieced quiets to donate to benefits, charities and disasters. Sheriff Dale Schmidt says he is confident the guild’s donation will be very meaningful to those who end up receiving the quilts.
