7/9/17 – There is a lecture open to the public next week that will take in-depth look at the Nitschke Mound Group in Dodge County. The talk will also cover topics such as past archaeological excavations, Native American oral histories, and modern mound research. The lecture will be approximately one-and-a-half hours with a question and answer period after. It will take place at the Dodge County Historical Society Museum in Beaver Dam on July 15 staring at 1pm. The lecture is free but reservations are required due to limited siting.
