Kenneth E. Schultz

Kenneth E. Schultz passed away surrounded by family until his last breath, on February 16th, 2019.

Ken was born on July 18, 1933 in Beaver Dam, WI.   He married the love of his life, Joanne (Soldner) on May 28th, 1955.  They farmed together for many years growing crops, milking cows and raising their three children:  Gregory(Jenine), Sandra(John) Schmitt and Rhonda(Gwenn) Soldner.

Ken was a member of Salem Lutheran Church and the Church Council in Lowell and a member of Lowell TrackMasters snowmobile club for many years.

He tried to get away from the farm as often as possible to go fishing.  Traveling throughout the Midwest and Canada and Alaska in search of the next bite, he fished for muskie, bass, walleye and big fat perch.  He loved to deer hunt on the farm and took on turkey hunting after he retired from farming.

Brother to Donna Mae, Wayne and Carolyn.  Grandpa to Nick(Ashley) Schultz, Jenny (Aaron) Eberle, Angie (Jon) Christenson, Thomas Schmitt, Stephanie (Trevor) Thompson,  Garrett Soldner(Becky Butler) and Amanda Soldner(fiancé Shane Hackbarth).  Great Grandpa to Jeremiah, Jackson, Jenna and Jesse Christenson, Drake Schultz, Sadie Eberle and Drew Thompson.  He loved spending time with his family, attending sporting events, concerts and telling stories while visiting with them.

He is now in heaven with his parents, Gladys and Malvin Schultz, sister Donna Mae and his grandson, Thomas Schmitt.

The visitation will be at Salem Lutheran Church in Lowell on Friday, February 22, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. The funeral service will follow at the church on Friday at 12:00 noon. A private burial for the family will follow after the service.
