Juneau City Attorney Resigns, Watertown Firm Hired

7/12/17 – Juneau has a new city attorney. The common council last night accepted the resignation of Sean Donahue who is closing his legal practice in Juneau to focus more on select clients, a private e-commerce business and to spend more time with family. On the recommendation of the Personnel Committee, the council last night hired the firm of Neuberger, Griggs, Sweet and Smith. The Watertown firm, which is opening a satellite office in the space Donahue is vacating, will fill out the remainder of the Donahue’s two-year term as city attorney with the next appointment slated for April of 2018.
