Judy A. Jarogoske
Judy A. Jarogoske, age 71, formerly of Beaver Dam, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg.
Born in Waupun on October 1, 1947, the daughter of Alvin and Dora (Teeter) Rahn, Judy graduated from Waupun High School. On December 7, 1968, Judy was united in marriage to Richard “Rick” Jarogoske at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Beaver Dam. She worked for Weyenberg Shoe Factory for almost 20 years before working for Dealer Parts in Columbus and finally Portage Plastics, from where she retired. Judy enjoyed taking pictures of nature and loved to travel. She treasured spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and sharing stories.
Judy is survived by her children, Jodi (Paul) Gorter of Waupun, Jill (Jeff) Strieff of Beaver Dam, Jason Jarogoske of Beaver Dam, and Jeni (Jay) Parker of Waupun; grandchildren, Jordan (Hannah Zirbel), Joshua, and Jarred Bader, Dakotah Gorter, Tyler, Trevor, and Tanner Strieff, Kyle and Ryan Jarogoske, Dakota, Dillon, Zellar, Clayton, and Carick Parker; great-grandchildren, Rylan, Arianna, and Ashton Bader; brother, Dennis (Debbie Hatlevig) Rahn of Wisconsin Dells; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rick in 1994; brothers, Don and Carl Rahn; and other relatives.
A memorial gathering for Judy will be held on Friday, March 8, 2019 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Private family inurnment will take place at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery, Beaver Dam, at a later date.
