Joshua J. Winter

Joshua J. Winter, age 32, of Horicon, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at his home.

A celebration of Josh’s life will take place on what would have been his 33rd birthday this coming Sunday, September 10, 2017 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with a service to follow. A special motorcycle tribute and balloon release will follow the service.

Josh was born the son of Chad and Diane (Persha) Winter on September 10, 1984 in Beaver Dam. He was currently employed at Centro Incorporated in Horicon as well as Quad Graphics in Hartford. Josh had a passion for motorcycles and loved when he was able to spend time on his Harley. He also loved fishing and appreciated the art of tattooing. He loved his cats Bella, Roxi, and Kylie. He will be fondly remembered for being a hard worker and never complaining even though he struggled with MS. Josh will be sadly missed by his family, relatives, and friends.

Josh is survived by his girlfriend – Dawn Purser of Horicon. His mother Diane (Russel Pieper) Winter of Horicon. His father- Chad Winter of LaCrosse. His grandmothers- Beverly Lockman of Horicon and Marion Persha of Hustisford. He is further survived by uncles, aunts, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandfathers- Joseph Persha, Chuck Winter, and Donald Lockman. His aunt Karen Kaiser and uncle Kurt Kaiser.
