Jones Found Competent To Stand Trial In Connection With Dixon Murder

(Fox Lake) A Fox Lake woman accused of helping her son hide the body of his girlfriend was found competent to stand trial. Marjorie Jones was in court Thursday as the results of the competency exam were discussed. District Attorney Kurt Klomberg opposed the review after Jones’ attorney requested it last week. Klomberg said it was a ploy by the defense to postpone the week-long jury trial which is scheduled to commence Monday. The 65-year-old is charged with a felony count of Aiding a Felon in connection the December 2016 murder of Sesalie Dixon.
