Johnson Stands Firm On Healthcare Repeal Vote

6/26/17 – U-S Senator Ron Johnson says there’s no way his colleagues should vote this week on the G-O-P’s version of the Obamacare replacement package. On N-B-C’s “Meet the Press” Sunday, the Wisconsin Republican says some parts of the package would improve the nation’s health care system — but it won’t accomplish his party’s promise to lower health costs. Also, Johnson agreed with some Republicans who say people with preexisting health conditions should pay more for their insurance — and he compared those people to cars that have been in traffic accidents. Assuming all Democrats vote no, Republicans can only have two defectors and still pass the G-O-P package — and the party already has at least four no voters on record.
