Johnson Speaks At Dodge County Lincoln Day Dinner

2/13/17 – The Dodge County Republican Party held their annual Lincoln Day Dinner Sunday night at the Horicon Hills Golf Course. Among the speakers was US Senator Ron Johnson who credited those in attendance with a Republican victory in November, saving the Supreme Court and turning over the state’s electoral votes to Donald Trump. “That’s a pretty big deal,” he said. Johnson noted that there was a record number of votes cast for republican statewide candidates. He also used the occasion to highlight the accomplishments of conservatives working in their communities. He referenced the Joseph Project, a career-placement program in Milwaukee that Johnson endorses. The voluntary, faith-based Joseph Project is designed to assist in helping those formerly incarcerated or down on their luck find and maintain permanent employment at places like John Deere Horicon Works. He says the Joseph Project is “transforming people’s lives.” Johnson concluded his speech by saying that republicans “won the supreme court now move forward not with hubris but with humility and a warm heart.”
