JENNIFER J. LAUE

Jennifer J. Laue, age 39 of Fox Lake, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Jen was born on December 12, 1978 in Richland Center, WI, the daughter of Kirk and Diana (Dieter) Kepler. She graduated in 1997 from Richland Center High School. In 2003, Jen graduated from UW-Platteville. While at Platteville, she met the love of her life. On July 23, 2005, Jen was united in marriage to Jason Laue at the Richland Center Church of the Nazarene. Together they had two beautiful daughters, Emma and Ellie Laue.

Jen was a member of Harvest Ev. Free Church in Beaver Dam, where she enjoyed attending Heart & Home, small group and volunteering at VBS. She was an avid reader and loved traveling. Most of all, Jen loved spending time with her family and watching her girls grow.

Jen is survived by her husband, Jason Laue of Fox Lake; her beautiful daughters, Emma and Ellie of Fox Lake; her parents, Kirk and Diana Kepler of Richland Center; her brother, Tim (Jane) Kepler of Richland Center; her in-laws, Mike and Bonnie Laue of Juneau; her sister-in-law, Jennifer (Jeff) Kirsch of Appleton; six nephews, Aaron, Noah, Adam and Matthew Kepler, Brayden and Kaleb Kirsch; her beloved dog, Bailey; special friend, Tara Ruhland, as well as other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Rubert and Lucreda Dieter; paternal grandpa, James Kepler and other relatives.

Visitation for Jen will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Harvest Ev. Free Church, W7444 Hwy 33, Beaver Dam from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:30 p.m. with Rev. Jason Wood officiating. Burial will take place at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery, Beaver Dam with a luncheon to follow back at Harvest.

The family extends a special thank you to their church families for all of their love and support, to Hillside Hospice and to anyone else who touched their lives during this difficult journey.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the family to establish education funds for Emma and Ellie.
