The IDEA EXCHANGE was named BEST RADIO SHOW-SMALL MARKET at the WBA Awards in Madison on Saturday night. Very exciting! We talked about the banquet, National Nurses week, Monthly Food Holidays, family road trips that John and I took with our families when we were young. I gave tips about on-the-road traveling and eating; how to keep kids entertained and how to plan the drive. Also shared some great websites if you are planning a family road trip this summer: www.roadfood.com (for great local restaurants), www.active.com (where you can find out about local races that you might want to enter) and www.roadsideamerica.com (for kitschy attractions).
