We talked about sugar cookies (and their history), how to pack a cooler, and the best practices for making homemade ice cream. We also spoke with Sandy of McKinstry’s Home Furnishings and she announced the winner of their BINGO WORD OF THE DAY CONTEST that we’ve been promoting on the program-ALICE HARVEY is the winner of a chair and ottoman valued at $1200! I shared some laundry tips; how to boost your protein intake with eggs; prep and grilling tips for veggies and best way to freeze food (Always check the website www.stilltasty.com  to find out about the shelf life of ANY item in your kitchen). We also talked about how to make fried ice cream and Rick found and shared a recipe for making your own. We also shared the following recipes: Veggie-Stuffed Peppers, Avocado Egg Salad and Italian Baked Eggs and Meatballs.
