Chocolate Chores and More, Brian Willshire
Chocolate Chores and More takes kids to a Willy Wonkaesque fantasy land where they beg to do their chores because things are made of candy and sweets. Who wouldn’t want to mow the lawn by “mouth” when the grass is made of chocolate? Do the laundry? Nah, the main character, Chad, eats his laundry because the fabric is cotton…candy. Shovel the snow! Right away! In Chad’s world the snow is ice cream. These and other scenes lend themselves to wonderful visuals created by Don Williamson.
Brian was a member of my tour group in Italy. It was nice to talk with him and to share his books with my listeners
