Horicon Marsh Bird Club To Host Presentation On Raptors

(Horicon) The public is invited to an upcoming event that will highlight Wisconsin’s raptors. The Horicon Marsh Bird Club will be hosting the program which will feature guest lecturer Renee Wahlen, Director of the Marsh Haven Nature Center in Waupun. Wahlen will discuss hawks and owls through a photo presentation, mounted specimens, and live birds. The live birds vary by presentation but may include a Red-tailed Hawk, American Kestrel, Great Horned Owl, or Barred Owl. The program will be held February 15 starting at 7pm at the Horicon Marsh Education and Visitor Center located on Highway 28 between Mayville and Horicon. Admission is free.
