Horicon-Made Gator In Top Four Of ‘Coolest Things’ Contest

(Horicon) The Gator utility vehicle manufactured at John Deere Horicon Works has made it to the final round of a statewide competition. The Coolest Things Made In Wisconsin, sponsored by Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce, has seen the field narrowed to four Badger State-made business products. Over 150-thousand votes have been cast to date. Individuals can vote once every 24 hours. Voting ends on Tuesday, October 9 at 12-noon. The winner will be announced at the State of Wisconsin Business and Industry Luncheon that day in Madison. In addition to the Gator, the list includes the Powerheart G5 Automated External Defibrillator made in Deerfield, Medically Adaptive Feeding Tube Clothing from Stoughton and the Sea Salt Caramel Pecan Kringle from Uncle Mike’s Bake Shoppe in De Pere.
