(Beaver Dam) The public is invited to a presentation Tuesday night on the history of Beaver Dam churches. Local historian Roger Noll will provide an overview of the religious congregations and institutions from Beaver Dam’s first settlers in 1841 to present day. Last Friday on WBEV’s Community Comment, Noll told us there is plenty of information on the topic. He says the churches keep a very detailed historical record from baptisms to marriages and funerals. Discussions will center on who started the churches, the ministers and priests, their locations, and how they moved around the city. The presentation will begin at 6pm tomorrow in the basement of the Beaver Dam Community Library.
