5/31/17 – A Hartford man accused of molesting a young teen runaway was in court for his arraignment hearing Tuesday. Bryce Goecks entered a not guilty plea to one felony count of Second Degree Sexual Assault of a Child. Goecks allegedly assaulted the middle-school-aged girl last August at his residence after supplying her with alcohol. The two met after the teen called a wrong number and the two engaged in conversation months later. The 20-year-old Goecks told investigators that he was under the impression that she was 17-years-old. If convicted, Goecks would face a maximum penalty of 40 years in prison.
