Green Lake County Officials Reporting Funnel Clouds With Tuesday’s Storm

(Green Lake County) Officials in Green Lake County are saying funnel clouds were observed Tuesday in the Kingston, Princeton and Delton-area. Authorities say that weather spotters were deployed after a severe thunderstorm warning was issued. At approximately 3:30pm, citizens reported seeing a tornado on the ground in the area of State Highway 73 and County Highway D, south east of Princeton.  Weather spotters also reported hail and strong winds.  As the storm moved through, reports of damage began to arrive at the dispatch center. Green Lake County Emergency Management is assessing damage – mostly in the Kingston and Dalton area – primarily roofs, small structures, trees and powerlines.  No injuries or loss of life has been reported.
