Foxconn will begin hosting job fairs to find workers for their Wisconsin plant next weekend. The first was held October 13 in Mount Pleasant. Additional events are set for Racine, Green Bay, Eau Claire, and Milwaukee. The Taiwan-based company’s focus for hiring includes human resources, hardware and firmware engineering, and business analysis.
Meanwhile, two plaintiffs against Mount Pleasant for the acquiring of homes for the Foxconn plant will be dropping out of the lawsuit. The village will be reaching agreements on Monday for the properties, which will result in all lands necessary for Foxconn’s first manufacturing campus. The village says they are continuing to reach voluntary agreements for the other properties for future construction.
