Fox Lake Library To Host Valentine Tea

(Fox Lake) The public is encouraged to attend a Valentine tea event at the Fox Lake Public Library. The Library Friends group will be decorating tables with red and white and serve light snacks prior to an evening dinner. The tea is meant as ‘thank you’ to those who use and support the library. The program of the day will be author Susan Karsten who will discuss her book ‘A Match for Melissa.’ Karsten will also touch on her writing journey and introduce the audience to the Regency Period. There will also be door prizes and Karsten will be donating an English Bone China cup and saucer. The Valentine tea will be held next Saturday, February 17 beginning at 1pm. The event can hold up to 30 people so the Friends group is asking those interested in attending to call ahead of time at 928-3223.
