Fox Lake Historical Society Presents Vietnam Program

(Fox Lake) The Fox Lake Historical Society will be presenting a program on the Vietnam War on February 9th at 6:30 PM.  Presented by John Kasmiski who served over 13 months in Vietnam in the late 1960’s, John will be talking about his experience in Vietnam in a program titled “A Brush With Death”.  Accompanied by many pictures, his program will be on display on the historical societies recently purchased large screen.

 

The Vietnam War, also known as the Second Indochina War, and in Vietnam as the Resistance War Against America, occurred November 1st, 1955 to April 30th, 1975.  U.S. troop levels gradually surged from 1,000 to 16,000 by 1963.  “A Brush With Death” a Vietnam program will be held at the Community Congregational Museum in Fox Lake, Wisconsin on February 9th at 6:30pm.  Refreshments will be served after the program with the general public being invited to attend.  For further information is available by calling the Fox Lake Historical Society at 920-960-7736.
