A southbound minivan was driving on the outside gravel shoulder of Highway 151 around 11:15am when the driver abruptly crossed over both southbound lanes attempting to turn east onto Hemlock Road. The minivan was struck on the driver’s side when it traveled into the path of a southbound SUV that was in the passing lane. The minivan then entered the median and overturned, coming to rest on its wheels. The driver of the minivan was ejected and was flown from the scene by Flight For Life to Theda Clark Hospital in Neenah with serious, life-threatening injuries. The SUV also came to rest in the median and all three occupants, a woman and two children, suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The children were taken by ambulance to American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison and the woman sought treatment on her own. The names of those involved will be released pending notification of family. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
