Former WCI Inmate Gets 15 More Years For Attempted Homicide

4/10/17 – A former inmate at the Waupun Correctional, who tried to kill a corrections officer, had 15 years added to his sentence. Bobby Kimble, who is now housed at Boscobel, pled no contest Friday to Attempted First Degree Intentional Homicide. In October 2015, Kimble waited outside one of the facility’s restrooms for a female corrections officer and punched her multiple times.  The 47-year-old then locked himself in the bathroom with the woman and continued to attack her with a homemade weapon, threatening to kill her before corrections officers could get into the bathroom and subdue him. Kimble said he felt threatened by the way she looked at him. He was previously convicted of First Degree Sexual Assault in Dane County.
