7/4/17 – Area residents who wish to benefit from the Mobile Pantry Program will have an upcoming opportunity to do so. The Second Harvest Mobile Food Pantry will hold an event this Saturday, July 8, were community members can bring bags, boxes, wagons, or other containers to pick up the food they receive. Recipients do not need to bring identification or proof of residence to collect food. Pre-registration starts at 9:45 am, and the food distribution begins at 10. People are encouraged to use the fairground’s entrance on High Point Road at Highway 33. Food is distributed in the shelter under the grandstand.
