FOG: Student-Run Music Revue Raising Money For Arts Programs

(Beaver Dam) A group of area High School students and recent graduates are showing off their talents this weekend in a fundraiser for local school music programs. It’s called FOG “For Our Generation” and for the past 15 years, students past and present have organized their own performing arts fundraiser. This year, 21 vocalists and a dozen musicians have assembled a 22-song musical revue with their favorite show tunes. Among the music in the performance: High School Musical, Glee, Moana, Rent, Book Of Mormon, The Muppets and Ghost The Musical, you know from the 80s movie. FOG is on the stage at Lindsay Auditorium on the Wayland Academy campus tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday at 7pm before wrapping-up with a 2pm Sunday matinee. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for children and all proceeds go to enhance the music and arts programs at high schools in Beaver Dam, Waupun, Horicon and Juneau.
