FEBRUARY 23RD: BANANA BREAD and TOOTSIE ROLLS

Martha Stewart Banana Bread

1 stick butter

¾-1 c. sugar

2 eggs

1 ½ c. flour

1 c. mashed, very ripe bananas

1 tsp. baking soda

1 tsp. salt or to taste

½ c. sour cream

1 tsp. vanilla

½ c. chopped walnuts (optional)

Mix butter and sugar. Add eggs & vanilla. Mix all dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture. Add sour cream and bananas. Pour into 9 x 5 x 3” loaf pan. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
