Café au Lait

2 c. half and half

4 c. freshly brewed chicory coffee or strong brewed coffee

Sugar, to taste

Add the half and half to a 2-quart pot and carefully heat over MEDIUM heat. Once the half and half begins to bubble and rise to the top, turn off the heat. Slowly pour the coffee into the pot, stirring to combine. Heat over MEDIUM until heated through. Transfer café au lait to warmed coffee pot and serve immediately with sugar to taste. Makes 6 servings.
