Fall River will take on Benton/Scales Mound on October 19 in their playoff opener at Columbus High School. A year after falling just one win short of the state title game, the Pirates are hoping for another deep postseason run. Joe Zander’s squad is bolstered by the dual running threat of Davyn Braker and Tanner Liebenthal who combined to rush for just under 1,000 yards and 10 touchdowns. Fall River’s stout defense is led by Keegan Wodill who has ten-and-a-half sacks on the year. The Benton/Scales Mound offense is powered by quarterback Wyatt Bastian who has over 1,100 yards throwing and 14 passing touchdowns.
