Facebook Rants Bring Legal Troubles For Greenfield High School Student

7/16/17 – Police report a student at Greenfield High School has made violent threats on Facebook — at one point saying if he had a gun, “there would be four dead teachers.”  The student has been expelled.  Two months ago the student was arrested by officers after a confrontation with the school liaison officer and the head of the Junior R-O-T-C program.  School officials say the threats are being taken seriously.  The former student denied making them, but a subpoena was used to access his Facebook account.  It’s being analyzed before prosecutors will make a decision whether to file criminal charges, or not.  The teenager’s name hasn’t been released.
