Rock River Archaeology Road Show
December 19, 2018 @ 6:30 PM
On Wednesday, December 19th, the Rock River Archaeological Society will have their December meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the Horicon Marsh Education & Visitor Center, N7725 Highway 28, Horicon, lower level. This will be their annual “Road Show” where members and visitors are encouraged to bring interesting, strange or unknown artifact to share with others. After the “Road Show” there is delicious snack time for everyone to enjoy. All are welcome to bring something edible to share and stay to enjoy the festivities whether you are a member or not. There is no cost for attending.
The “Road Show” is really a fun event and unlike a similarly named show on TV, this is NOT an appraisal, but a chance to show off and learn about interesting things we have hidden in our garages and attics.
At the end of the show there will be a drawing for prizes that one of the members has collected. Some lucky people will go home with a new item.
The public may enter the Education Center at 5:45 p.m. from the upper level, that makes parking for the program very easy. The Upper level doors do lock at 6:30 p.m. and anyone coming after that time will have to enter from the lower level doors.
For more information, call Julie Flemming at 920-928-6094.
