Emily’s Closet Fundraiser This Weekend

4/6/17 – Beaver Dam High School students are raising money this weekend for a scholarship established for a fallen alumna. The Emily’s Closet fundraiser is in memory of 2014 grad Emily Lyons who died in a snowmobile accident two-years ago. Beaver Dam High School student Arianna Weinberger says the goal of the charity is to take in donations of prom dresses and sell them for under half the cost as a way to support her scholarship fund. Weinberger says there will be poofy dresses, short, long, beaded dresses, and even bridesmaid’s dresses from size two to 20. Today is the final day for donations at the school which can be dropped off from 3pm until 4pm. The sale will run Friday from 5pm to 8pm, Saturday from 9am till noon, and Sunday from 1pm to 5pm in the Beaver Dam High School’s south gymnasium.
