Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Once Again Seeking Public’s Help In Tracking Down Huber Inmate

(Juneau) The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is once again seeking the public’s help in locating an inmate who failed to return to the jail while released for a preapproved appointment. An arrest warrant has been issued for Connie Smiley who did not return from her appointment in Juneau on Wednesday (January 30). Smiley was last seen at a duplex on North Fairfield Avenue in Juneau and may be with an individual with a black “lifted” truck. Her last known address is located on Maple Ridge Road in Oconomowoc. The 36-year-old Smiley was serving a 160 day Huber sentence at the Dodge County jail for Contempt of Court. Sheriff Dale Schmidt says Huber inmates are authorized to leave the jail for work, a medical appointment, community service, educational opportunities and from time to time they will fail to return. Schmidt says his office takes these cases seriously and will seek charges against these inmates once they are taken into custody. If a person has information on Smiley’s whereabouts they are asked not to make contact with her but instead contact the Sheriff’s Office at 920-386-3726 or your local law enforcement agency.
