Dodge County Master Gardener February Meeting

(Dodge County) The Dodge County Master Gardener Association will be holding it’s February meeting on Thursday the 28th at 6:30pm.  This month’s meeting will be a presentation by the Dodge County Youth Master Gardener Association as they share what they have learned.  The Youth Master Gardener program started in 2015 with classes within only two districts, Mayville and Hustisford.  Since that time the program has added a homeschool class that meets in Juneau in 2016 and one at the HoNoR School district which started in 2017.  In 2018, 34 young people were certified as Youth Master Gardeners, and they will be presenting what they have learned across a wide variety of topics including wildlife control, insects, soil, plant diseases, trees, the water cycle, invasive species, landscape planning and more.  As always, the Dodge County Master Gardener meeting is free and open to the public.  Meetings are held the 4th Thursday of the month at the Dodge County Administration Building.  For more information about the Master Gardener Association and upcoming educational opportunities, contact the Dodge County UW Extension office at 920-386-3790, visit the website at http://dodge.uwex.edu/master-gardener/ , email us at: askamastergardener@att.net
