Dodge County Has New IT Director

(Juneau) Dodge County has officially hired a new director for the Information Technology Department. The county board Tuesday night approved Justin Reynolds for the opening. The vacancy was created when former IT Director Ruth Otto stepped down in October of last year. County officials did not comment on the circumstances surrounding her departure, saying at the time it was due to an “ongoing personnel issue.” Reynolds has served as the technology coordinator for the Dodgeland School District from 2004 through 2007 and the network manager of the Oconomowoc School District from 2007 to 2017. He also spent half-a-year as the network engineering and communications manager of Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and as of this past June has been serving as the technology services supervisor at Hartford Union School District. The new hire holds both an Associates and Bachelor’s degree from Herzing Univeristy and a Masters of Information System Management from Keller Graduate School of Management. The starting salary will be $47.92 an hour and benefits include 15 days of paid vacation. Reynolds first day is slated for January 21st.
