9/22/17 – The Dodge County Fair raised over $8300 this year for local non-profits through the sales of wristbands that are required to drink alcohol. Fair Association Secretary Sharon Keil says the one-dollar wristband policy helps control underage drinking. The groups that are splitting the funds raised this year include the Dodge County Boots and Saddle Club, the Beaver Dam Exchange Club, the Dodge County Emergency Response Team, the Juneau Lions Club and Green Valley Enterprises. In addition, the American Legion donated their share to Camp American Legion at Lake Tomahawk. Also, Bayside Concessions donated their share to the WBEV-WXRO Children’s Radiothon.
