7/6/17 – Dodge County is one of 23 Wisconsin counties, hit with late freezes this past winter, that are now eligible for disaster relief. The U-S Small Business Administration is granting low interest loans for small businesses, farm cooperatives, aquaculture firms and most private non-profit groups. Loans of up to two-million dollars are available, with interest rates of two-point-five percent (2.5%) to three-and-one-eighth percent (3.18%). Applicants have until February 28th to submit their requests. The S-B-A says its loans are normally granted when the U-S-D-A approves similar relief for farmers. Agricultural loans have also been granted for winter damage in Washington and Fond du Lac counties.
