Dodge County Authorities Respond To Overnight Injury Accident, Runoffs

(Town of Beaver Dam) Area roads are snow-covered and slippery this morning. The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office reported two run-offs during the overnight hours. There was also one accident with injuries reported just before midnight in the Town of Beaver Dam. The two-vehicle crash on Highway 33 at Hidden Valley Road resulted in multiple injuries and a road blockage. A 35-year-old West Bend man was arrested for third offense operating while intoxicated.

In Fond du Lac County, a two-vehicle crash in the Town of Taycheedah resulted in serious injuries to both drivers. The jaws-of-life were needed to remove a 35-year-old Fond du Lac man and a 41-year-old Mt Calvary man from their vehicle. Both were flown to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center. Alcohol is believed to be a factor.

Snowfall totals in the area according to the National Weather Service: Watertown and Oconomowoc picked up around three-inches while Hartford reported two inches. Janesville received five inches. Edgerton got six inches.
