Developers Agreement Approved For Larsen Dental

2/7/17 – The Beaver Dam Common Council Monday night approved a developer’s agreement for a dental office moving into the downtown redevelopment district. Larsen Family Dental is moving from its current location at 215 North Spring Street to 210 Madison Street, which is the office building adjacent to the Historic Loft Apartments, both of which were once the Weyco Shoe factory. The building is located in Tax Increment Finance District #6 and because it is considered a blighted area, the city offers developers incentives. Larsen will be reimbursed 80-percent of the annual property tax payment, capped at $54-thousand dollars, for 15 years. Larsen, a Beaver Dam-native, says she wanted to invest in the downtown as her business grows.
