Chocolate Covered Dump Cake

1 can cherry pie filling

½ c. chocolate chips

2 tsp. almond extract

1 pkg. chocolate cake mix

¾ c. pecan halves

1 c. unsalted butter, melted

Mix pie filling, chocolate chips & almond extract. Spread into greased 9×13” pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix over top; Sprinkle nuts over cake mix. Drizzle melted butter over top. Bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes or until top is set and filling bubbly. Serve warm. Makes about 15 servings.
